This film is near and dear to our hearts! It came out when SamBee was born (1992), and we have watched it as tradition every Christmastime (and sometimes Springtime… and Falltime… and Summertime) every year since! Now, it is our Christmas Eve family film.

Why are we telling you all of this? Because SenBee and QueenBee create the MOST amazing colors when the inspo means the most to us. That means this advent will be filled with ALL NEW colors in a mix of dye styles, that will bring the fun, nostalgia, and colors of this film to life (in yarn).

Expect these minis to follow a “vibe”, even though the dye styles will be a mash-up! Expect the dark aesthetic of Victorian London with pops of bright Muppets throughout!

Our advents are great as gifts, to open with friends and family who also love the theme (color guessing with kids is so fun!), to work into a simple and therapeutic holiday project for yourself, or as additions to big, scrappy projects, or to be gifted at the end to a “knit-worthy” lover the fandom inspiration… Us Bees and others have done all of these and more since we started making yarn advent calendars and patterns in 2017!
