All About the Pattern

Inspired by crisp autumn walks across the quad to classes, this hat is cute, cozy, and classy all at once. The cabled brim stands out against the simple textured body of this slightly slouchy beanie.
This hat looks great in minis, variegated yarns, speckles, tonals, and naturals! Give it a woolly halo by pairing a strand of fingering weight with a strand of angora, brushed alpaca, or mohair!
A quick and addictive knit, this hat makes an easy gift, a great way to stash bust, or an instant-gratification project for yourself!
Now, grab your coffee and get to class!

Yarn:
Shown knit in one skein of Bumblebee Acres Farm’s Coquette Sock

The yarn is DOUBLED to give the pattern the plush effect of a worsted yarn, and the lovely variegated color.
Knit in 350 yards total of fingering weight or
in 200 yards of any DK/worsted yarn!

Suggested Bumblebee Acres Yarn:

Squishy DK

Bumble Worsted

Sassquash Aran

Coquette Sock (held double)*

Squishy Sock (held double)*

Butter Sock (held double)*

Bubble Sock (held double)*

Spun Sugar (one strand) with one strand of any sock yarn!

* Holding yarn double helps spread out color pooling- a great way to use a variegated yarn and see less pooling in your project!
