We have been swept away by dragons and romance like everyone else, and we have been looking forward to creating our own yarn collection inspired by these pages for ages! Okay, this whirlwind romantasy hasn’t been around for ages, but you get what we mean! We will be focusing our inspiration for this advent from the first book of the series entirely.

This advent will, of course, feature all new colors! This will also be our very first advent with only Tonal and Speckle dyed colors! Expect deep, draconic, and moody romantasy tones for this one.

Our advents are great as gifts, to open with friends and family who also love the theme (color guessing with kids is so fun!), to work into a simple and therapeutic holiday project for yourself, or as additions to big, scrappy projects, or to be gifted at the end to a “knit-worthy” lover the fandom inspiration… Us Bees and others have done all of these and more since we started making yarn advent calendars and patterns in 2017!
